Tropical Topical Tamanu

	Nurturing Force® Tropical Topical Tamanu™ Nurturing Force® discovered Tamanu Oil about two years ago, in a quest for a quick, easy to use, fast penetrating serum; not just for the face, but the hair, scalp, hands and body also. With liquid travel restrictions and a limit on what we can fit in makeup kits and bags; our goal was to offer a multi-purpose product. We choose Tamanu Oil for its anti-oxidants, anti-bacterial anti-inflammatory and moisturizing properties; backed by a rich cultural history of its origin and use in Polynesia for the hair skin and body. Our Tamanu Oil comes from the Tamanu Tree (Image Left) native to Vanuatu. This flowering tree’s fruit (Second Image) becomes ripe. The result, is a special green fruit (Third Image) that is hand picked each year and the seeds are removed. The seeds are dried naturally, without artificial heating or ventilation, under open aired roofed structures (Fourth Image). These tan dried seeds (Fifth Image) are cold pressed and their expressed oil is filtered using a paper filter. Our Nurturing Force® Tropical Topical Tamanu™ logo, (the sixth image) represents the Tamanu’s genusname, Calophyllum, which means “beautiful leaf” and the special green fruit, whose nut yields this special oil.
